This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
β’ Develop, implement, and uphold BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.
β’ Lead interdisciplinary model coordination reviews to detect and address clashes, inconsistencies, and potential issues prior to affecting construction.
β’ Serve as the owner's point of contact for all BIM-related inquiries, collaborating with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to align on BIM objectives, data exchange formats, LOD/LOI requirements, and model federation.
β’ Engage in hands-on drafting and modeling using Autodesk Revit, including updates to MEP systems (power distribution, piping, ductwork, etc.).
β’ Maintain and oversee central owner-side BIM repositories, ensuring version control, data integrity, and secure access for internal teams and project partners.
β’ Perform quality assurance checks on models, verifying geometric accuracy and data richness.
β’ Facilitate project handover by ensuring as-built models are complete, accurate, and suitable for facility management and operations.
β’ Provide guidance to engineers regarding BIM tools, workflows, and best practices.
β’ Stay updated with evolving BIM technologies, standards, and industry trends, recommending enhancements to improve project outcomes for the owner.
β’ Implement and sustain project-specific document control procedures and workflows.
β’ Receive, review, register, distribute, and monitor incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring proper metadata, numbering, revision control, and approval workflows.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in BIM management and Revit modeling, with at least 3β5 years concentrated on MEP (mechanical and electrical) systems.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (focusing on MEP), BIM 360/ACC, AutoCAD, and associated tools (Navisworks is a plus).
β’ Strong comprehension of BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle, including model coordination, clash detection, LOD specifications, and data exchange standards.
β’ In-depth understanding of document lifecycle management, version/revision control, and transmittal processes.
