Billing System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Comarch BSS (Product Catalog, Billing, Billing Mediation) through configuration, updates, performance monitoring, and resolution of incidents.

• Supervise system processes, evaluate logs, and identify as well as resolve data and runtime challenges.

• Ensure the stability and continuity of system integrations and interfaces throughout the billing ecosystem.

• Manage backups, data recovery processes, and ensure system availability and resilience.

• Assume technical ownership of the billing system following deployments and during ongoing operations.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to guarantee compliance with audit and security standards.

• Monitor the BSS roadmap, conduct Proofs of Concept, and maintain high-quality technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Comarch BSS (Product Catalog, Billing, Billing Mediation).

• At least 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.

• Experience with enterprise system integrations and familiarity with integration tools.

• Understanding of billing processes, including invoicing, rating, and usage-based billing.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux, REST API testing, Apache Kafka, and databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.

• Regular use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for log analysis, SQL optimization, documentation, and preliminary problem diagnosis.

• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
