Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and process customer invoices in a timely manner.

• Review contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and supporting documents to ensure billing precision.

• Maintain comprehensive billing records and associated documentation.

• Submit invoices via customer billing portals such as Textura, Coupa, Oracle, and other specific platforms.

• Address customer billing inquiries in a professional and timely fashion.

• Assist in collections by providing necessary billing documentation and resolving any invoice disputes.

• Facilitate project closeouts by confirming that all billings are finalized and required documentation has been submitted.

• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

• Aid in the development and documentation of billing procedures and best practices.

• Support month-end billing close and reporting processes.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to meet customer billing expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 2 years in billing, accounts receivable, or accounting roles.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
