Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests, conduct account reviews, and handle other inbound billing-related questions from external customers, ensuring to document all related discussions and research.

• Investigate and validate customer issues with internal teams to identify root causes and appropriate remediation.

• Present information clearly and succinctly in both verbal and written formats to internal and external customers.

• Handle additional projects and billing-related responsibilities for customers as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with over 2 years of experience in billing, ideally in a customer-facing position.

• Any degree or certification beyond a high school diploma or GED requires at least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Capability to articulate issues, document resolutions, and identify when escalation is necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Solid accounting, organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills are required.

• Proficient computer and software skills are critical, including knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Oracle.

• Experience in collaborating with customers or vendors to resolve issues, with a proven track record in customer service excellence.
