
Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create billing invoices for participants and institutional clients.
• Generate and uphold billing reports.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding billing transactions.
• Manage billing agreements within the database.
• Examine multiple daily reports and input corresponding adjustments into the financial system.
• Ensure validation of program pricing billed for each program term.
• Address customer billing issues, discrepancies, and irregularities.
• Communicate with program participants and organizations to facilitate the collection of outstanding receivables.
• Aid in the month-end closing process, including the review and posting of adjusting entries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• An associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with the NetSuite financial system is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with solid analytical abilities are required.
