Billing & Revenue Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of architecture, configuration, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting for live Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue environments.

• Design, configure, and implement new pricing models, product catalogs, and revenue rules without interrupting production operations.

• Act as a senior escalation point for intricate billing, rating, revenue recognition, integration, and system architecture challenges.

• Convert Finance and Controllership requirements, including ASC 606, IFRS 15, and month-end close policies, into actionable Zuora configurations.

• Ensure consistent data flow and integration between Zuora and enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and financial platforms.

• Resolve complex issues involving APIs, middleware, billing logic, revenue processes, and enterprise integrations.

• Collaborate with technical teams and Finance stakeholders to facilitate the scalable, production-safe evolution of the Zuora platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in a mid-level systems administration, billing systems, or financial systems support role.

• Practical experience in Zuora Administration.

• Familiarity with the Zuora user interface.

• General knowledge of billing processes.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and effectively implement approved configuration changes in Zuora.

• Experience in supporting configuration, administrative, or operational modifications in business systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong critical thinking abilities.

• Enterprise experience is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Zuora Revenue / RevPro.

• Experience in supporting modifications to product catalogs.

• Familiarity with supporting invoice or credit memo template updates.

• Experience in deploying workflows to Production.

• Background in assisting with audit requests or change-control procedures.

• Experience collaborating with Finance, Sales, Product, or Engineering stakeholders.

• Knowledge of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.
