Billing Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Create, review, and process customer invoices with precision and timeliness.

• Oversee billing transactions to ensure alignment with company policies and contractual stipulations.

• Reconcile billing documentation, payments, credits, and modifications.

• Investigate and address billing discrepancies, customer inquiries, and issues related to invoices.

• Maintain accurate customer billing information and ensure data integrity across systems.

• Assist in month-end and quarter-end billing closure activities.

• Work collaboratively with Finance and Operations teams to enhance billing workflows and efficiencies.

• Generate billing reports and offer insights on trends, exceptions, and outstanding balances.

• Support collections efforts by closely collaborating with Accounts Receivable teams.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and aid in billing automation initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and financial procedures.

• Document billing processes and maintain precise operational records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related area; relevant experience may be considered.

• 1+ years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, finance operations, or a similar role.

• Strong grasp of invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation concepts.

• Experience utilizing ERP systems, billing platforms, or accounting software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines in a remote working environment.
