This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage daily billing operations to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Supervise billing cycles, reconciliations, and activities at the end of the month.
• Ensure that accounts receivable activities facilitate precise financial reporting and compliance with SOX.
• Collaborate with business partners and the team for out-of-cycle processing.
• Provide updates on priorities, progress, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with Finance, Accounting, and business teams.
• Encourage open communication within the team.
• Support the delivery of high-quality outputs through thorough reviews and attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities for workflow enhancements, boost efficiency, and reinforce controls.
• Set plans and priorities to ensure timely delivery.
• Track progress and proactively address potential delays.
• Analyze billing and operational data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Lead the resolution of issues through investigation, data-driven insights, and collaboration across functions.
• Provide clear reporting that guides business decisions and strategic direction.
• Supervise and mentor team members through constructive feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Cultivate a collaborative and accountable team environment.
• Enhance team skills and confidence.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and audit standards.
• Identify and address issues for remediation to prevent recurrence.
• Review and improve internal processes and controls.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or accounting operations management.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience in leading or mentoring team members.
• Reliable, thoughtful leadership with a strong sense of ownership.
• Professional and clear communication skills.
