• Take charge of your client portfolio.
• Oversee a diverse range of client accounts, focusing on complexity rather than a predetermined number.

• Meet production and quality expectations consistently.
• Establish and monitor production and quality objectives across your portfolio.
• Conduct regular production and quality assessments with your Team Leads.
• Determine whether a declining metric indicates a coaching, staffing, or product issue, and address it accordingly.
• Serve as a reliable RCM advisor.
• Discuss your clients' workflows, accounts receivable, denial trends, and performance with authoritative insight.
• Be the go-to person for clients seeking answers, rather than just updates.
• Manage and mentor your team effectively.
• Conduct formal one-on-one meetings and performance discussions with billers, including potential terminations.
• Guide and develop the Team Leads who report to you into more effective leaders, not just oversee the billers on the floor.
• Identify and cultivate future Team Lead and senior biller talent.
• Foster collaboration across RCM Operations.
• Work together with fellow Billing Managers to establish best practices and document procedures.
• Promote efficiencies throughout the wider team, not just within your own portfolio.
• Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience, including substantial time spent directly managing billing or RCM teams within healthcare RCM.

• Proven experience in staffing and scaling a team to align with a dynamic book of business.

• Comfortable managing multiple client relationships and overseeing several direct and indirect reports simultaneously.
• Familiarity with leading PM systems (such as ModMed, NextGen, Athenahealth, or similar) and payer portals.
• A direct and clear communicator, adept at delivering difficult feedback and managing escalations.
• Willingness to work US hours (9am-6pm ET).
• Health insurance.
• Retirement plans.
• Paid time off.
• Flexible work arrangements.
