Billing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Prepare and process customer invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and billing timelines.

• Verify billing information for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.

• Analyze customer contracts and associated documentation for invoicing and revenue recognition purposes.

• Maintain financial records and ledgers related to billing.

• Investigate accounts and resolve billing discrepancies, variances, and customer inquiries.

• Generate reconciliations and reports to ensure the accuracy of billing and revenue data.

• Evaluate billing trends and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.

• Assist in month-end and year-end billing and revenue closing activities.

• Create financial schedules and reports for managerial review.

• Facilitate internal and external requests related to revenue audits.

• Conduct audit sampling and collect necessary documentation.

• Engage in billing system testing, implementation initiatives, and process improvements.

• Verify the accuracy of system-generated invoices and reporting outputs.

• Support ERP and CRM-related integrations concerning billing.

• Collaborate with Business Operations, Sales, Contracting, Fleet Operations, Logistics, and other departments to address billing issues.

• Convey billing status, account research findings, and process improvements to internal stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or finance within an automated business environment.

• Proficient in using ERP systems.

• Capability to read, comprehend, and interpret sales contracts and related legal documents.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Intermediate skills in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is preferred.

• Identity and credential verification, interviews, and screening for fraud or misrepresentation are components of the hiring process.
