Bilingual Spanish Pharmacy Technician, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Make outbound calls to members to introduce Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services and other commercial initiatives beyond traditional MTM.

• Reach out to members, prescribers, and pharmacy providers to improve care coordination and support the Star ratings program.

• Handle incoming calls from members to start MTM or other CEC services.

• Conduct thorough telephonic medication interviews and document the medications involved as part of the MTM Program.

• Ensure effective communication with clients, providers, and internal teams concerning CEC programs and their outcomes.

• Stay informed about regulations related to CEC programs.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of Navitus Clients’ member experience and the role of CEC in enhancing health and wellness.

• Adhere to all relevant HIPAA and CMS regulations.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is necessary.

• A valid Pharmacy technician license/certification as mandated by state laws is required.

• Active national pharmacy technician certification through PTCB or NHA is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

• Experience as part of a multi-disciplinary team is preferred.

• Understanding of relevant data privacy practices and laws is preferred.

• Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and HIPAA regulations is essential.

• Engage in, comply with, and support compliance program objectives.

• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

• Compliance with relevant HIPAA and CMS regulations is necessary.

• Availability to work the specified schedule: M-Th, 8:30am-7pm and Friday 8:30am-5pm.

• Remote work is unavailable for residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
