
Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist, 18-Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct outbound calls in accordance with established protocols.
• Document adverse events and carry out necessary follow-ups with patients or their treating physicians.
• Oversee and manage all components needed to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.
• Collaborate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions.
• Handle documents, submissions, and paperwork for insurance providers and public or federal funding programs.
• Execute financial means testing to enhance patients’ prescription drug coverage.
• Manage pharmacy processes after funding has been secured.
• Address inquiries related to clinical product support, client-specific procedures, and additional services.
• Conduct training sessions on product-related topics and coordinate product testing or administration when necessary.
• Keep organized reference materials and stay updated on current scientific and medical literature.
• Accurately assess clinical information and provide clinical details to facilitate decision-making and mitigate risks.
• Report all adverse events to the assigned units or departments.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree or a related nursing diploma, or a suitable combination of experience and education.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service within an office environment.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in nursing and related healthcare sectors.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with reimbursement processes, patient support programs, and database operations.
• Knowledge in clinical and pharmaceutical areas.
• Extensive experience in patient management.
• Strong analytical, design, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and simultaneous processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Basic knowledge of automated warehouse operating systems.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or colleagues across different functions.
