This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Coordinate appointments with healthcare providers, patients, referring physicians, and facilities across various states.
• Schedule, reschedule, and accurately cancel both initial and follow-up appointments.
• Deliver warm, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
• Provide information regarding services to physicians and callers.
• Respond promptly to requests from patients, providers, and team members.
• Maintain and update patient information while staying informed about insurance protocols.
• Assess insurance benefits using eligibility systems, online platforms, and phone inquiries.
• Clarify insurance coverage and financial responsibilities to patients and guarantors.
• Address billing inquiries, collect out-of-pocket payments, and accurately process payments.
• Communicate insurance-related issues and collaborate with billing teams to resolve coverage discrepancies.
• Maintain insurance panels effectively.
• Secure approval for schedule adjustments or cancellations.
• Achieve goals and objectives set by management.
• Elevate issues to management as necessary.
• Perform additional duties based on patient requirements.
• Comply with quality and productivity standards.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience with insurance eligibility is essential.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Capacity to collaborate well in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability Monday–Thursday from 12:00pm–8:00pm EST.
• Availability on Fridays from 11:00am–7:00pm EST.
