This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage the scheduling of appointments, confirmations, and reminders through phone, text, or email.
• Oversee patient intake and front desk communications, ensuring a seamless onboarding process and effective client interaction.
• Keep accurate and confidential patient records and files up to date.
• Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing coordination, including following up on claims as necessary.
• Act as the primary contact for patient outreach and follow-ups with families or guardians.
• Use telehealth platforms to facilitate session coordination and troubleshoot any issues.
• Professionally and courteously answer inbound calls in a bilingual manner.
• Prioritize and efficiently respond to emails, texts, and client inquiries.
• Ensure effective and compassionate communication with clients and their families.
• Lead outreach initiatives via email and phone by connecting with local preschools, schools, pediatricians, neurologists, other healthcare providers, and community centers.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish is essential.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment or with ABA therapy is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Comfortable navigating insurance processes, including pre-authorizations and verifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak confidently with clients and providers.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail) and telehealth platforms.
• Experience with or a willingness to learn Central Reach is preferred.
• Familiarity with managing social media accounts for a business or practice.
• Background in content planning or digital marketing, even at a basic level.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in clear English communication, both spoken and written.
• Relevant work experience is required.
• Ability to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding is mandatory.
• Must be available for video meetings with the camera on when necessary.
• Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer is required.
• Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 25 Mbps) is necessary.
• Audio: A noise-canceling headset is required.
• Video: A webcam for virtual meetings is necessary.
• Workspace: Must have a quiet, professional environment.
