This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Promote and sell insurance products and solutions through both inbound and outbound channels.
• Identify insurance needs and offer customized, consultative solutions with a client-first approach.
• Drive sales growth and achieve individual performance targets.
• Provide an exceptional client experience for both customers and prospects.
• Maximize opportunities for cross-selling, referrals, and client retention.
• Adhere to authorized scripts, processes, and procedures.
• Manage complex cases and high-value sales.
• Offer advice and guidance on the implementation of solutions.
• Maintain necessary licenses and fulfill continuing education and Errors & Omissions Insurance obligations.
• Support strategic initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Analyze data and information to generate insights and recommendations.
• Address technical life insurance inquiries for licensed agents.
• Develop program scripts, objection handling techniques, and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to sales.
• Design and create tools and training programs, including potential training delivery.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as sales reporting and following up on pending business.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance capabilities and drive business growth.
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make informed risk decisions.
• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
• Must comply with licensing and certification requirements for the team, branch, and jurisdiction.
• Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or Level 2 license in Ontario/Quebec for Life Insurance products.
• Valid OTL insurance license in Ontario and/or Quebec for Other Than Life Insurance products.
• Expected to work towards the A&S/LLQP license within 3 months of employment for Other Than Life Insurance products.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of life insurance products, applications, laws, compliance, and regulations.
• Specialized knowledge gained from education and/or professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
