Bilingual Investment Claims Adjudicator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding service consistently to both internal and external customers.

• Communicate professionally in both written and spoken formats.

• Exhibit empathy and anticipate client needs through active listening.

• Review claims and ensure that files are managed according to established procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation of claim files to ensure a precise record of events.

• Gather complete information to guarantee accuracy in files.

• Update the system accurately to ensure the reliability of reserve calculations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in French and English is mandatory.

• Basic mathematical abilities are essential.

• A high degree of comfort is necessary to handle calls with grieving or emotional clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.

• 1-2+ years of experience in adjudicating claims is a valuable asset.

• Familiarity with processing and imaging systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Investment Products is a plus.

• Understanding of government legislation, including the Insurance Act and Quebec Civil Code, is beneficial.

• Basic knowledge of administrative systems (Mainframes, AWD, iFAST) is an asset.

• Proficient in crafting professional correspondence.
