
Bilingual Health Care Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.
β’ Manage incoming and outgoing calls in a high-tech setting.
β’ Address general inquiries related to insurance and financial assistance.
β’ Process payments efficiently.
β’ Make and receive calls on behalf of the client to resolve billing and payment concerns using established work queues and call pools.
β’ Respond to information requests from patients/account holders in a professional and comprehensive manner.
β’ Facilitate payment arrangements or obtain payments on behalf of the client as necessary.
β’ Adhere to client-specific protocols and policies.
β’ Investigate and respond to client inquiries.
β’ Enter and track payment arrangements.
β’ Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
β’ Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
β’ Provide bilingual support for calls.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role with daily public interaction.
β’ Preferred knowledge or experience in medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration.
β’ Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
β’ Strong organizational capabilities.
β’ Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
β’ Flexibility in scheduling and task assignments, including regular evening and Saturday shifts as needed.
β’ Capability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
β’ Bilingual candidates will offer additional support for bilingual calls.
β’ A broadband internet connection is required; DSL or dial-up is not acceptable.
β’ A hard-wired internet connection is mandatory; Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots are not permitted.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 40 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
β’ A camera must remain on during training and scheduled shifts, except during designated breaks and lunch; thereafter as instructed by the supervisor or team expectations.
β’ Remote employees must reside in the United States and be located in one of the specified eligible states.
β’ Successful completion of all post-offer processing is mandatory.
