Bilingual Field Specialist, English-Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Perform energy assessments and conduct essential quality checks in occupied residences.

• Effectively communicate with homeowners who speak English and Spanish through in-person interactions, phone calls, emails, and written reports.

• Evaluate insulation, weatherization, and existing electrical or natural gas systems.

• Record observations and prepare Home Energy Assessments detailing necessary repairs and enhancements.

• Assess contractor bids and invoices to ensure compliance with program eligibility.

• Timely and accurately submit reports, forms, and invoices.

• Engage in occasional community outreach activities to promote energy-saving initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (mandatory).

• Capability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening (including THC).

• Preferably some experience in home inspections, energy efficiency, residential construction, or HVAC.

• Excellent customer service abilities and the skill to convey technical concepts in simple terms.

• Strong organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.

• Comfort in working independently in the field while managing a schedule effectively.

• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and dependable transportation.

• Openness to obtaining professional certifications such as BPI Building Analyst Technician and/or Professional.
