
Bilingual Disability Case Analyst/Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Proactively oversee a dedicated caseload while ensuring compliance with service level agreements and targeted turnaround times.
• Execute daily administrative responsibilities, which include prompt responses to emails and phone calls.
• Evaluate claims by considering contractual, medical, and vocational challenges.
• Cultivate relationships with plan sponsors, beneficiaries, treatment providers, and internal collaborators.
• Propel cases towards successful return to work or readiness for job resolution.
• Compose letters that convey relevant benefit-related information through analytical reasoning.
• Engage with plan members using resilience, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
• Deliver challenging claims-related decisions.
• Assist plan members during periods of illness, injury, and recovery.
• Assess medical, functional, vocational, and psychosocial aspects.
• Create recovery and return-to-work plans.
• Collaborate with clients, employers, and healthcare providers to achieve sustainable results.
• Fully proficient in both French and English.
• Capability to communicate in English and French to assist clients from various jurisdictions outside Quebec.
• A college or university degree in a healthcare field or equivalent work experience is advantageous.
• Ability to make effective and timely decisions under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with disability management and/or group benefits is beneficial.
• Experience in a health-related domain is a plus.
• Comfortable and proficient in managing both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Skills to assess medical, functional, vocational, and psychosocial factors.
• Capability to formulate recovery and return-to-work strategies.
