Bilingual Disability Case Analyst – Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a dedicated caseload while adhering to service level agreements and turnaround objectives.

• Perform daily administrative duties, including prompt responses to emails and phone calls.

• Evaluate claims considering contractual, medical, and vocational obstacles.

• Collaborate with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, disability specialists, rehabilitation experts, and medical consultants.

• Propel cases towards a successful return to work or readiness for job resolution.

• Draft letters that convey essential benefit-related information using analytical reasoning.

• Communicate challenging claims-related decisions with empathy, resilience, and compassion.

• Provide support to plan members during their illness, injury, and recovery journeys.

• Evaluate medical, functional, vocational, and psychosocial factors.

• Develop recovery and return-to-work strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully bilingual in French and English.

• Capability to communicate in both English and French to assist clients from regions outside Quebec.

• A college or university degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience is considered an asset.

• Ability to make effective decisions promptly under strict deadlines.

• Knowledge of disability management and/or group benefits is advantageous.

• A background in a health-related field is beneficial.

• Proficient in managing incoming and outgoing calls.

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Skilled in assessing medical, functional, vocational, and psychosocial factors.

• Capable of designing recovery and return-to-work strategies.

• Proficient in working with contractual, medical, and vocational information.
