This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Manage incoming and outgoing patient communications in both English and Spanish.
• Address emails, texts, and patient queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Deliver friendly, empathetic, and patient-focused customer service.
• Conduct appointment reminders and follow-ups on treatment.
• Assist in enhancing patient engagement and acceptance of treatment.
• Efficiently schedule, confirm, reschedule, and oversee patient appointments.
• Coordinate calendars and enhance scheduling processes.
• Ensure patient information and appointment details are accurate and up-to-date.
• Facilitate smooth communication between patients and the dental staff.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments.
• Aid in billing coordination and the posting of payments.
• Support the claims follow-up process and insurance documentation tasks.
• Assist patients in understanding coverage and payment-related information.
• Manage patient intake and update demographic information.
• Maintain precise digital records and documentation.
• Provide support for data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure all records are organized and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with additional operational duties to enhance office efficiency.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) — REQUIRED.
• English proficiency level: C1 or above is mandatory.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in: U.S. dental administration, U.S. healthcare administration, dental front desk support, medical scheduling, or insurance coordination.
• Strong comprehension of: dental workflows, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.
• Experience with dental PMS platforms such as: Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar systems.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong sense of accountability, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA compliance.
