This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming and outgoing patient communications in both English and Spanish.

• Address emails, text messages, and patient queries with professionalism and promptness.

• Deliver friendly, empathetic, and patient-focused customer service.

• Conduct appointment reminders and follow up on treatment.

• Assist in enhancing patient engagement and acceptance of treatment.

• Efficiently schedule, confirm, reschedule, and oversee patient appointments.

• Organize calendars and improve scheduling processes.

• Ensure that patient information and appointment details are accurate and up-to-date.

• Facilitate seamless communication between patients and the dental team.

• Confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage before appointments.

• Aid in billing coordination and the posting of payments.

• Assist with claims follow-up and insurance documentation tasks.

• Help patients comprehend coverage and payment-related details.

• Oversee patient intake and demographic information updates.

• Maintain precise digital records and documentation.

• Support data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks.

• Ensure all records are organized and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Assist with various operational tasks to enhance office efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) — REQUIRED.

• Proficiency in English at C1 level or higher is essential.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in U.S. dental administration, U.S. healthcare administration, dental front desk support, medical scheduling, or insurance coordination.

• Strong knowledge of dental workflows, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.

• Familiarity with dental PMS platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar systems.

• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and professionalism is required.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

• Strong sense of accountability, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
