• Accountable for addressing patient inquiries concerning account charges, insurance payments, and outstanding balances.
• Execute clerical tasks, including collecting due balances and recording payments to accounts.
• Uphold stringent confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide assistance to facilities, payers, and patients with inquiries through phone communication.
• Establish payment plans upon patients' requests.
• Relay questions and/or concerns to the Lead and Supervisor when required.
• A minimum of 1 year of Customer Service/Call Center experience, preferably in the medical or healthcare field.
• Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, problem-solving individual who thrives in a team setting.
• Capable of efficiently navigating multiple computer screens and browsers with accuracy.
• Ability to perform excellently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.
