Bilingual Customer Service, Rebate Processing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offers fundamental troubleshooting and suggests solutions.

• Performs data entry by inputting information into various database applications.

• Receives data and source documents, compiles, organizes, interprets, and verifies information for entry.

• Maintains both electronic and physical filing systems for applications, rebates, and other supporting documents.

• Communicates effectively as part of a team approach with other departments to serve customers.

• Engages in customer service activities, including responding to emails and phone calls.

• Delivers outstanding customer service and call handling in a customer-focused environment.

• Protects confidential customer information.

• May provide peer training and job shadowing support to colleagues as assigned within the area of responsibility.

• Willing to assist with any program within the department as assigned.

• Performs additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish.

• Must be available for an 8-hour shift as scheduled between 8 am and 6 pm.

• At least 6 months of relevant work experience in a call center environment is necessary.

• Skilled in 10-key data entry from a computer keyboard.

• Familiarity with various Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Access.

• Strong attention to detail is essential.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, with the capability to manage multiple tasks.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• A positive, customer-friendly attitude is required.

• Must be able to follow instructions as provided.

• Reliable high-speed internet service is required, along with the ability to maintain a secure, consistent home internet connection that supports daily job functions, including video conferencing and collaboration tools. A minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is necessary, with 70+ Mbps download preferred. Connection stability is crucial. Satellite and mobile internet connections may not offer the reliability needed for roles with frequent video conferencing, VoIP communications, or other real-time collaborative tasks.

• Previous experience in a data entry processing and customer-centric call center environment is preferred.

• Experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors is a plus.
