Bilingual Croatian STEM Expert – AI Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create expert-level prompts in Croatian on a variety of specialized scientific subjects.

• Assess and annotate AI model outputs for scientific precision, usefulness, and appropriate management of sensitive issues.

• Utilize structured guidelines to categorize prompts and conversations.

• Contribute to making advanced AI models safer.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

• Perform tasks independently on a flexible schedule.

• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on requirements and performance outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related discipline, either ongoing or completed.

• Expertise in writing prompts related to chemical, biological, or radiological and nuclear topics.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Croatian.

• Business-level written proficiency in English.

• Strong familiarity with contemporary laboratory and computational methods in the relevant subfield.

• Good judgment regarding scientific safety and responsible management of dual-use information.

• Proven expertise in a specific scientific subfield.

• Background in radiological and nuclear fields from a chemistry perspective, including radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, energetic materials, or radiation physics.

• Involvement in research or coursework related to chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous materials handling.

• Experience in reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content is an advantage.

• Candidates must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship/support.
