Bilingual Content Editor – English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, revise, and enhance detailed copy on various subjects within specific industry sectors in both English and Spanish with minimal oversight.

• Review text to identify and rectify errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax.

• Showcase the ability to modify tone and complexity of a piece to engage the appropriate audience, while adhering to relevant style guidelines.

• Verify facts to ensure that all dates, names, statistics, and information are accurate.

• Discover methods to enhance the structure and flow of content.

• Serve as the final authority on all assigned client copy.

• Exhibit the ability to apply feedback from clients and colleagues effectively.

• Provide a dependable, solutions-focused approach to enhancing the online visibility of our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in creating and editing content for both Spanish and English-speaking organizations.

• 2–3 years in an editorial position at a digital publication, preferably with reputable news outlets, industry blogs, or within an agency environment.

• Proficiency in writing and editing for the web, with emphasis on digital content such as long-form guides, infographics, how-tos, software/tool roundups, comparison articles, trend reports, and other thought leadership materials.

• In-depth knowledge of specialized topics within the health, legal, finance, and/or technology sectors.

• Goal-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.

• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective working relationships in a remote setting.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace.

• Keen attention to detail with a strong emphasis on AP style.

• Intermediate understanding of SEO, including practical knowledge of SEO tools and their application to enhance client websites.
