Bilingual Care Manager – Patient Support Call Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound calls to gather necessary information and document it accurately.

• Handle inbound calls and provide assistance to customers regarding pharmacy-related services.

• Uphold a high level of professionalism in all forms of communication while delivering efficient, courteous, and friendly service.

• Engage with insurance companies to investigate benefits and verify coverage eligibility.

• Offer support for prior authorizations and appeals.

• Aid patients in the enrollment process for copay assistance programs offered by manufacturers and non-profit organizations.

• Enhance job knowledge by participating in training activities and educational opportunities.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to fulfill required tasks.

• Maintain and enhance quality outcomes by adhering to standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks established by program KPIs.

• Report Adverse Drug Events (ADEs) in accordance with program policies and guidelines.

• Follow all HIPAA regulations diligently.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least one year of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or a related medical office role.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Prior data entry experience (minimum of three months) with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.

• Must possess strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate various computer tabs, monitors, and applications.

• Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) as well as soft phone systems (WebEx, Mitel, Shoretel, etc.).

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to thrive in a virtual team environment by being available and responsive during working hours.
