Bilingual Accounting Liaison, English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• **Key Responsibilities**

• Act as a bridge between the accounting team and clients, ensuring effective and timely communication.

• Relay financial information, invoices, and billing specifics to clients in both English and Spanish as required.

• Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable processes, including following up on payments.

• Collaborate with legal and operations teams to guarantee accurate billing related to cases.

• Examine settlement agreements to ensure financial terms are correctly documented and processed.

• Keep financial records updated in accounting systems.

• Address client inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status.

• Aid in account reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies and legal financial procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Qualifications**

• Proficiency in **English and Spanish** (both written and spoken) is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Over 2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or financial coordination is required.

• Familiarity with the settlement process and the review of agreements is essential.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.

• Competence in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• **Preferred Skills**

• Experience in personal injury cases is preferred but not mandatory.

• Background in a law firm or professional services setting.

• Knowledge of legal billing and case management systems.
