Bid Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and enhance a high-performing bid function.

• Ensure that tender and RFP submissions are accurate, compliant, and engaging.

• Manage multiple simultaneous submissions across different regions.

• Serve as the editorial and quality control authority for bid responses.

• Take ownership of the narrative, winning themes, and communication strategy for bids.

• Guarantee that submissions are compliant, precise, and submitted on time.

• Act as the final editorial checkpoint for tender documents.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of bid writers.

• Effectively distribute work among the team.

• Maintain and enhance the RFP/Tender Library and core content.

• Utilize bid management platforms and perform post-bid evaluations.

• Coordinate communications with organizations that issue tenders or RFPs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a small to mid-sized company or in a growth-stage environment.

• Outstanding proposal quality assurance and editorial review skills.

• Strong background in SaaS/software or Higher Education related bid and procurement processes.

• Extensive experience managing large, complex RFPs and tenders.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools for drafting, reviewing, summarizing, or ensuring quality.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to coach and enhance the performance of other writers.

• Strong organizational and project management competencies.

• Familiarity with bid portals, CRM systems, and structured bid tracking methodologies.

• A third-level degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
