This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Bid Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete tender response process from start to finish.
• Take ownership of the proposal production timeline by establishing milestones for technical solution input, commercial pricing development, legal terms assessment, and executive approvals.
• Manage post-submission efforts, including clarification phases and customer Q&A assistance.
• Develop and implement a structured Go/No-Go qualification framework.
• Conduct systematic post-bid evaluations for every significant opportunity.
• Identify and assemble the bid team for each project.
• Facilitate structured review sessions at each milestone during the proposal process.
• Act as the primary liaison for customer communications throughout the bidding process.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of the bid process is maintained.
• Safeguard AMDT’s approved value propositions.
• Establish and uphold a proposal quality checkpoint.
• Maintain a controlled repository of pre-approved proposal modules.
• Coordinate risk evaluation and effort planning for each bid.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Gather inputs from various departments to create thorough and accurate bid submissions.
• Develop and manage a structured win/loss analysis framework.
• 8+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or deal desk roles within B2B enterprise software, preferably in industrial software, OT/IT, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder bids exceeding €500K in value, including RFP/RFI responses for enterprise and public-sector procurement.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills – adept at structuring multi-site ARR deals with flexible pricing tiers, expansion triggers, and margin-protective terms, while meticulously tracking win/loss trends, bid cycle metrics, and conversion rates to convert data into actionable strategic insights.
• Proficient in cross-functional orchestration – able to coordinate inputs from Product, Legal, Pre-Sales, and Channel under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Change-driver mentality – you not only manage the current process but also redesign it.
• Strong AI proficiency and hands-on experience – actively engage with AI tools (Claude, Copilot, GPT, or similar) to draft proposal content, analyze RFP requirements, synthesize competitive intelligence, and expedite review cycles.
• Exceptional proposal writing abilities – capable of converting technical capabilities into business-outcome narratives tailored to CISOs, VP Operations, and plant managers.
• Fluent in English (business language); German is highly desirable due to the significance of the DACH market.
• Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
