BI Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive project management for Business Intelligence (BI) implementations, starting from initial scoping and requirements gathering through to project delivery and support after launch.

• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely achievement of milestones.

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project status, challenges, and results.

• Establish and nurture strong client relationships, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout the duration of the project.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including solution architects, data engineers, analysts, and developers, to ensure smooth execution of project tasks.

• Identify potential project risks and challenges, proactively devising mitigation strategies to guarantee project success.

• Monitor project financials to ensure delivery within budget and scope, while also identifying opportunities for cost savings.

• Oversee project expenses, timesheets, and billing to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and client budgets.

• Proactively lead resource capacity planning by forecasting team needs, balancing workloads, and aligning available resources for efficient project execution and timely delivery.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of best practices, processes, and methodologies for managing BI projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience leading complex Business Intelligence (BI) solution implementations, preferably within a professional services firm or BI SaaS company.

• More than 3 years of experience implementing and managing Jira environments; Jira certification is preferred.

• A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be beneficial.

• Scrum Master certification is preferred.
