BI Developer, Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and deploy dashboards, reports, and self-service business intelligence solutions.

• Collaborate with business users to convert requirements into KPIs, metrics, and data models.

• Design and implement semantic data models to enhance scalability and extensibility.

• Conduct data profiling, validation, and exploratory analysis.

• Assist in ad-hoc analysis and support data-driven decision-making.

• Track report usage and performance, optimizing for query speed and user experience.

• Ensure integration of data governance, security, and compliance practices.

• Contribute to documentation, training, and user empowerment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.

• Expertise in SQL with experience handling relational databases and large datasets.

• Practical experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Strong data visualization abilities that convert complex data into understandable insights.

• A solid grasp of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling and historical data management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying data patterns and ensuring accuracy.

• Proficiency in requirement gathering and engaging with stakeholders.

• Experience in performance optimization techniques such as query tuning and aggregation strategies.

• Strong communication skills for clearly explaining technical trade-offs.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) for dashboard prototyping.
