This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the capacity of a Bodily Injury Manager at Reserv, you will function as a working leader, offering support to a claims director or vice president while managing leadership and claim technical duties.
• Your leadership role will involve supervising the work conducted by the Commercial Transportation and Delivery/Courier Claims adjusting team.
• You will play a pivotal role for the team, customers, and clients alike.
• This position will require balancing management duties with individual contributions, especially when claim volumes necessitate additional support.
• Flexibility is essential, as you will need to transition seamlessly between claims management and providing coaching and feedback.
• Agility is key; you must possess a nimble mindset and be prepared to shift focus at a moment's notice.
• Consistency in achieving or surpassing goals while overcoming challenges is expected.
• You will implement and uphold best practices for claims handling, which includes claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
• Aligning the team with client and customer expectations regarding the claims process is crucial.
• Serve as a resource for escalated claims inquiries.
• Promote a positive work atmosphere, encourage teamwork, and support professional growth and development.
• Attract, hire, retain, and provide superior training with the assistance of the leadership team.
• Prepare and deliver detailed claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients and customers, advising them on claim trends and loss mitigation strategies.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial transportation, particularly in delivery and/or courier claims (e.g., Amazon, DoorDash, FedEx, Instacart, UPS, etc.).
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a fully remote environment.
• Active licensure in your home state or designated home state.
• Openness to obtaining all relevant licenses within 45 days of hire.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance claims within the Delivery/Courier sector, specifically regarding bodily injury and property damage.
• Proficiency with technology and the ability to enhance claims systems and processes for improved efficiencies and results.
• A proven commitment to quality, precision, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong integrity, ethics, and a sense of accountability when managing confidential and sensitive information.
