BI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain Power BI dashboards and reports utilized throughout the organization.

• Convert business requirements into effective, user-friendly reporting solutions that are clear and reliable.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, clarify requirements, and provide actionable insights.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power BI reports, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.

• Assist with daily BI requests, ad-hoc reporting, and continuous improvements in reporting.

• Aid in standardizing reporting practices and enhancing consistency within the Power BI environment.

• Partner with technical and business teams to ensure reporting aligns with changing data models and business goals.

• Engage in defining future BI processes, reporting standards, and best practices as part of the client's Data Revolution initiative.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the reporting landscape by identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize existing solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing Power BI datasets, semantic models, and DAX measures.

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including star schema and dimensional modeling.

• Proficient SQL skills, capable of writing complex queries, working with relational databases, and analyzing data to support reporting and business insights.

• Significant experience with Azure cloud and its associated services.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into impactful dashboards and reports.

• Experience in supporting production BI environments and collaborating with various business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English at B2–C1 level.
