This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the primary liaison with assigned broker firms while consistently increasing broker headcount by effectively showcasing our value proposition.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of the broker firm and its business portfolio to leverage BenefitMall's capabilities for maximizing revenue growth.
• Recruit and mentor new agents for BenefitMall by promoting the unique experiences offered through strong, trusted relationships backed by the industry's top technology solutions.
• Collaborate with agents and brokers to formulate revenue growth strategies aimed at enhancing sales activity, increasing product offerings per customer, and expanding awareness of BenefitMall’s specialized services.
• Operate effectively within a team sales environment, coordinating all sales and retention efforts as needed to ensure the most efficient, reliable, and trusted benefits selling experience.
• Lead the POD team to support agents and brokers’ business endeavors and motivate them to expand their clients’ operations.
• Provide education and training to agents on carrier administrative processes, product availability, and the value propositions each brings to customers.
• Conduct strategy meetings with the POD team to address priority issues, quote volumes, renewal activities, and schedules as necessary.
• Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Zoom, etc.) for tracking activities and metrics effectively.
• Promote our services to agents and brokers, encouraging them to direct their clients’ business to us.
• Formulate strategies with targeted agencies to drive technology adoption, ensuring the elimination of manual processes and compliance with safe, secure electronic data transfer.
• Address conflicts, resolve issues, and provide constructive feedback to management.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related insurance or employee benefits medical sales role (required).
• Associate’s Degree (preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of group insurance products, ideally gained through experience in insurance marketing or sales roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; familiar with web browsers, especially Google Chrome.
