This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Oversee the CONNECT system, offering support to all branch HR Coordinators and AO staff regarding the Human Resources and Advanced Benefit modules.
β’ Responsibilities include creating and generating reports (ad hoc), updating and developing procedural guides, conducting various element tests (both HR and Payroll), and implementing changes.
β’ Act as the primary contact for all health and welfare plan administration and guidance.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
β’ Manage and customize file interfaces with vendors and insurance carriers, ensuring accurate plan enrollments, reconciliations, and timely COBRA notifications.
β’ Provide assistance to Retirees and COBRA participants with various inquiries regarding benefit plans.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for staff members regarding Leave requests (FMLA, Disability, Personal, etc.), which includes maintaining, tracking, and managing the Disability/Leave files and records.
β’ Support the management of the annual Open Enrollment process, which entails creating and distributing communications, as well as creating, testing, and implementing changes in CONNECT.
β’ Contribute to the administration of the Salary Administration Plan, which includes grading all Association positions, addressing various compensation inquiries, and supporting the annual performance appraisal process for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
β’ Additionally, this role will assist in the Performance Plan process (Cornerstone administration).
β’ Administer the Incentive Pay program by monitoring eligibility, facilitating employee communications, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
β’ Oversee the management of PTO accruals in CONNECT, providing guidance to all staff on employee eligibility and accurate calculations.
β’ Participate in special projects as requested by management or other departments.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
β’ A minimum of three (3) years of substantial Human Resources experience with a strong understanding of benefits and compensation plan administration, as well as ERISA/FLSA/Department of Labor regulations.
β’ Familiarity with ERISA, FLSA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), vendor negotiations, and various benefit plan designs.
β’ Knowledge of HRIS systems.
β’ Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
β’ PHR or SPHR designation is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Compensation will be disclosed once you qualify in the interview.
