This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the accuracy of data across GreenSlate’s payroll system, benefits administration partners, carriers, brokers, and state-mandated benefits programs.
• Oversee billing reconciliation to guarantee that GreenSlate is fully reimbursed for its liabilities.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to benefits data.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor metrics and trends in benefits data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of the benefits deduction management process.
• Contribute to technical strategies and propose solutions that enhance benefits-related data processes.
• Create and manage the calendar for benefits deduction management.
• Conduct regular audits of benefits data to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist with annual open enrollment by validating data, testing system configurations, and performing post-enrollment reconciliations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external audits concerning compliance and financial controls related to benefits data.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for benefits, data management, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor relevant federal and state regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of benefits administration technology or integration partners.
• Support communication and data management for state-mandated 401(k) programs, Paid Family Leave, and disability benefits compliance.
• 3–5 years of experience in group benefits administration, benefits data analysis, benefits reconciliation, consolidated billing, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Intermediate SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, or Tableau is advantageous.
• Highly proficient in Excel, with advanced formulas and data analysis capabilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing tasks effectively.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A passion for technology and complex problem-solving.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Quick aptitude for learning and adapting to new data tools and concepts.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work occasional hours beyond the regular schedule.
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the role, including standing, sitting, hearing, seeing, and operating standard office equipment.
