Benefits Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Provide education and consultation to individual health insurance consumers regarding their available coverage options.

• Guide customers through the insurance enrollment process.

• Ensure proactive follow-up and ongoing support for customers.

• Develop relationships with customers and both internal and external stakeholders, including employees, client decision-makers, insurance carriers, and brokers.

• Keep accurate and timely records in internal systems and CRM platforms.

• Deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

• Utilize customer interactions and feedback to enhance retention strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the health insurance sector, particularly in employee benefits and/or personal insurance, is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Customer Success, Customer Advocacy, Relationship Management, Account Management, or a similar customer-facing position is preferred.

• Possession of a current Life & Health insurance license, or the ability to obtain one promptly.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding listening skills.

• High accuracy and attention to detail in both documentation and customer interactions.

• Strong technical skills and comfort with CRM systems and other technology platforms.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive in approach.

• Capability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

• A genuine passion for helping customers achieve optimal outcomes.

• Availability to work full-time.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship.
