This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the complete payroll processing for Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia, collaborating with local payroll providers and utilizing ADP and Woffu to guarantee precise and timely payroll each cycle.
• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity throughout all systems.
• Oversee statutory payroll filings in accordance with local regulations, which include UK HMRC, Spain’s Seguridad Social, Ireland’s PRSA, and Australia’s Superannuation requirements.
• Maintain precise, audit-ready payroll records, encompassing documentation of processes and controls.
• Manage employee benefits programs across all regions, including health, pension/retirement, life insurance, and statutory benefits, ensuring compliance with local mandates.
• Assist with annual benefits renewals, coordinating with vendors, facilitating employee communications, and updating systems.
• Cultivate relationships with local benefits brokers and vendors, acting as the main operational contact for enrollments, renewals, and issue resolution.
• Address payroll and benefits inquiries from employees and external partners promptly, accurately, and professionally.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll and benefits perspective, ensuring correct setup and timely processing.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
• Work together with People Operations, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll and benefits delivery across all regions.
• Utilize AI and automation tools to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing payroll and benefits processes, boosting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Contribute to payroll system integrations and enhancements (e.g., ADP–Woffu), providing regional expertise and testing assistance.
• Participate in payroll and benefits-related projects, process improvements, and scalability initiatives.
• Keep updated on international payroll and employment legislation changes and proactively communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
• A minimum of 2 years of international payroll and/or benefits administration experience, with direct hands-on experience in at least two of the following countries: Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, or Australia.
• A working knowledge of statutory payroll and benefits requirements across EMEA and/or APAC markets, with significant expertise in Spain due to the size of our employee population there.
• Experience with payroll platforms like CloudPay or similar; comfortable navigating multiple systems at once.
• A solid understanding of global payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present payroll data clearly.
• Capability to collaborate effectively across departments and with international teams to ensure payroll and benefits accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
