This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide administrative assistance to behavioral health and psychiatric providers.
• Process medication prior authorizations and liaise with insurance companies, pharmacies, and providers.
• Accurately enter and update home medications in the EHR system.
• Ensure patient records and documentation are maintained accurately using CareLogic EHR.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and general office workflow support.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
• Support daily office operations to ensure seamless clinic processes.
• Handle sensitive patient information while upholding HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting required; experience in behavioral health or psychiatry is highly preferred.
• Nursing or clinical experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office processes is essential.
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or mental health environments is preferred.
• Prior experience with CareLogic EHR is highly desired.
• Familiarity with medication authorization and prior authorization processes is necessary.
• Strong communication skills via phone and email are required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required.
• Basic requirements include proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Relevant work experience is a must.
• Must be able to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding [mandatory].
• Availability for video meetings with the camera on when needed is required.
• Technical requirements include a reliable laptop or desktop computer.
• Internet must be high-speed with a minimum of 10 Mbps.
• A noise-canceling headset is required for audio.
• A webcam is necessary for virtual meetings.
• A quiet, professional workspace is essential.
