Bankruptcy Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Overseeing a statewide bankruptcy case portfolio

• Drafting and submitting motions, pleadings, and essential documents

• Performing Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and composing Objections

• Participating in court hearings, both virtually and in-person

• Serving as a point of contact between the firm, clients, courts, and trustees

• Managing time-sensitive escalations and updating client databases

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from a recognized law school

• Active membership with the New York Bar in good standing

• Minimum of 3 years of Bankruptcy experience preferred (Chapter 7, 11, 13)

• Ability to thrive in high-volume, deadline-oriented settings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to travel as necessary for court appearances

• Strong commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality

• Bonus: Background in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation
