
Banking Analyst – Chargeback & Payments Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Managing the complete chargeback case processing, reviewing ACH returns, conducting compliance assessments, and overseeing daily banking operations.
• Serve as a primary escalation point for inquiries related to chargebacks and offer support to client-facing teams.
• Oversee and monitor client payment activities, address escalations, conduct investigations and reporting, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with Client Success, Support, Sales, and other internal operational teams to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
• Analyze ACH returns to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and compliance alignment.
• Conduct research and analysis in response to credit card chargeback inquiries; create summaries and reports related to chargeback analyses.
• Execute daily banking functions, including ACH processing, wire transfers, payment postings, and reconciliation tasks.
• Design and maintain chargeback reporting dashboards, perform analysis, assess risks, and manage ACH transfer rejections.
• Identify and introduce process enhancements concerning chargeback workflows, ACH return management, and overall banking operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in banking operations, ideally within payment processing, financial operations, or FinTech environments.
• More than 3 years of direct involvement with credit card network chargeback processes, ACH return regulations, wire transfers, and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to approach issues with a business-oriented mindset when resolving problems and communicating with stakeholders.
• Highly detail-oriented, ensuring strong accuracy in managing financial transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power BI (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to rapidly acquire new technologies and skills.
