Bakery Technical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to meet customer needs in alignment with the Lesaffre UK & Ireland commercial strategy by providing bakery process guidance.

• Support customers in their New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) initiatives.

• Create customized products and conduct baking trials.

• Engage in trade exhibitions and customer-related events.

• Provide thorough training and guidance for both internal team members and external partners/customers on bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients, and mixes.

• Remain informed about market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and product offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in food technology or relevant experience in the baking sector.

• Significant demonstrated baking expertise and/or familiarity with industrial production lines.

• Established knowledge of the industry, products, raw materials, and processes.

• Strong customer focus, high commitment level, and the ability to be persuasive and assertive.

• Competence in organizing, prioritizing, and managing issues proactively and effectively.

• Capacity to collaborate and work effectively within teams across various departments and the Group.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
