Backup Care Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address member backup care requirements across child care, elder care, and pet care.

• Assess and select suitable care providers based on member needs and timelines.

• Evaluate, confirm, and process reimbursement requests for backup care.

• Ensure compliance with policy guidelines while resolving payment-related issues.

• Respond promptly to urgent care requests within tight deadlines.

• Exhibit empathy and professionalism while assisting members.

• Keep thorough and precise records of provider support options and communications.

• Work collaboratively with internal team members and networks to guarantee smooth service delivery.

• Participate in ongoing improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in care coordination, family support services, provider scheduling, or backup care services.

• Proven experience in time-sensitive care environments.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work independently, apply sound judgment, and analyze situations with minimal guidance.

• Proficiency in digital tools and case management software.

• Communication skills driven by empathy.

• Knowledge of national or regional care networks, licensing, and regulatory issues is advantageous.

• Experience working with families from various cultural, socioeconomic, and geographic backgrounds is preferred.

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and the management of sensitive health or personal information is ideal.

• Bilingual skills are a significant plus.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Time.

• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and holidays.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
