Backlink Outreach, Link-Building Specialist

📋 Description

• Identify authoritative websites and media opportunities for acquiring backlinks.

• Conduct focused outreach to secure editorial placements.

• Explore opportunities through HARO/Qwoted, podcasts, guest posts, and other similar channels.

• Establish and nurture relationships with relevant outlets and publishers.

• Oversee opportunities from initial outreach to confirmed placements.

• Maintain an active pipeline of forthcoming backlink and editorial opportunities.

• Monitor placements and growth of referring domains using Semrush.

• Assess backlink quality and flag potentially spammy, low-authority, or heavily paid-placement opportunities.

• Deliver a concise weekly report detailing secured placements, ongoing placements, new referring domains, issues or red flags, and targeted outlets/sites for the upcoming week.

• Secure authentic editorial placements, enhance high-quality referring domains, maintain dofollow editorially relevant links, and contribute to the growth of Authority Score.

• Monitor AI search citations through monthly spot-checks of priority queries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in backlink outreach, link building, digital PR, editorial outreach, or securing earned media placements.

• Proven experience in pursuing placements via HARO/Qwoted, podcasts, guest posts, and similar editorial channels.

• Capability to identify relevant, authoritative websites and media opportunities.

• Skill in securing genuine editorial placements and high-quality referring domains.

• Proficiency in evaluating backlink quality and steering clear of spammy, low-authority, or paid-placement-heavy opportunities.

• Ability to manage an outreach pipeline from initial contact to confirmed placements.

• Results-oriented approach focused on placement quality and measurable impact.

• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
