Background Verification Specialist I – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Administer and provide support for Background Verifications, Drug Screening, Credit, PA2, and Health Screening initiatives.

• Collaborate with field teams, corporate service departments, candidates, and vendors to identify and resolve any issues.

• Handle incoming calls and emails while completing tasks related to customers, candidates, and vendor access.

• Investigate and propose solutions within the designated 2-hour service-level response timeframe.

• Uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive candidate information.

• Keep program tracking logs and maintain internal process documentation.

• Conduct on-demand, weekly, and monthly training sessions for end users and vendor users.

• Spot opportunities to enhance efficiency, user engagement, process controls, customer service, and program support.

• Raise challenges to third-party vendors as necessary.

• Assist with the Issue Resolution Tool and submit requests for vendor changes.

• Attend weekly staff meetings and monthly training sessions.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2-3 years of experience in customer service.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with multiple systems is advantageous.

• Completion of a background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
