Background Verification Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage Background Verifications, Drug Screen, Credit, PA2, and Health Screen programs.

• Act as a liaison between field operations, corporate service departments, candidates, management, and vendors.

• Handle incoming calls and emails, addressing questions and issues from the field and candidates.

• Manage the addition, removal, and auditing of primary vendor user access.

• Deliver solutions within a stipulated 2-hour service-level response time.

• Uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected candidate information.

• Keep program tracking logs and internal process documentation updated.

• Conduct training sessions for programs, processes, procedures, and vendor products.

• Identify areas for enhancing efficiency, user adoption, process controls, customer service, and program support.

• Engage in staff, training, and user meetings.

• Escalate any challenges encountered with third-party vendors.

• Assist with the Issue Resolution Tool and submit requests for vendor changes.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2-3 years of experience in customer service.

• Capability to multitask effectively.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Experience with multiple systems is an advantage.

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory for employment.
