Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend services using Java and/or Node.js, prioritizing performance, scalability, and resilience.

• Design, construct, and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed services.

• Engage in defining and implementing service-oriented (SOA) and event-driven (EDA) architectures.

• Actively troubleshoot complex issues and address production challenges.

• Uphold engineering best practices such as clean code, automated testing, observability, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with technical teams, participate in code reviews, and foster continuous improvement in development methodologies.

• Promote and enhance DevOps and CI/CD practices to optimize the delivery cycle.

• Execute integrations with internal systems and external platforms like Salesforce and Lumis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on backend development.

• Proficient in:

• Java and/or Node.js.

• Experienced in:

• Developing RESTful APIs.

• SOA and EDA architectures.

• Databases:

• SQL: MySQL, Oracle.

• NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis.

• Familiar with:

• DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

• Version control using Git (Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab).

• Cloud environments (GCP and AWS).
