Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain services utilizing .NET within a microservice architecture.

• Collaborate with event-driven systems employing Kafka and Temporal for workflow management.

• Construct and enhance data layers using MongoDB and Redis.

• Implement services in Kubernetes (k8s) environments.

• Work closely with product teams from the initial concept phase through to the production launch.

• Develop frontend components using React as required.

• Incorporate AI development tools like Claude Code into your daily development practices.

• Engage with MCP servers and agentic development methodologies.

• Take part in code reviews, architectural conversations, and ongoing enhancement of our platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Extensive experience with .NET/C#.

• Strong familiarity with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and Temporal.

• Proven experience in building and managing microservices deployed on Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with event-driven design patterns.

• Solid understanding of React.

• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.

• Familiarity with MCP servers and agentic development workflows.

• Demonstrated success in working closely with product teams, guiding features from concept to production.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Nice to Have

• Experience in the ecommerce or supply chain sectors.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps methodologies.
