Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and create comprehensive features and new services from start to finish.

• Engage with the entire technology stack to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

• Architect a microservices-based system that is highly scalable and performs efficiently.

• Model intricate objects to produce a robust enterprise-grade software product.

• Utilize a profound understanding of backend, UI, and infrastructure software.

• Grasp user requirements to develop intuitive and user-friendly products.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to define, design, and execute product features.

• Maintain high engineering standards and ensure consistency across various services.

• Oversee individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

• Develop the next generation of a subscription management and billing platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of pertinent experience in building large-scale applications or intricate enterprise software.

• More than 5 years of experience with web applications, enterprise software, extensive software systems, and/or financial software.

• At least 5 years of experience leading software projects in a technical role.

• Experience in software development using open-source technologies, Java, or similar programming languages and tech stacks.

• Proficient experience working with one or more of: web applications/services, enterprise software, large-scale software systems, and/or financial software.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A keen interest and capability to learn new languages or technologies as required.
